Core design: This symmetry and projected windows, and the low profile hip roof are carried through this expansion design. One planning compromise this symmetry in the core design presents is the front foyer space being adjacent to the kitchen. If this is viewed a liability, walling in the kitchen is one not particularly desirable option. Another is changing the hardscape emphasis to the side door, using that as the primary entrance, and using that front entry deck as a the sitting deck it already is.

Style: This spread out variation of design #6 gets more flexible with exterior treatment and setting. This use of shingles on the projected accent windows suggests this. Horizontal siding in place of the stucco primary siding would further alter that personality presented with the boxier expandable design.
