Small walkout with a similar plan but completely different personality than # 5.

Small Walkout #6

Designs #5, #6

This footprint: This 'L' shape footprint is actually shared by designs#5-#9. And although only marginally larger than the preceding designs in the series this footprint allows the utility stuff and entry element to be accommodated in the right side 'wing', leaving the larger rectangle available for open space, and lower (level) bedrooms. It also encourages a simple 2 part roof design that has comfortable looking. So it is an efficient and flexible footprint.

Both #5, #6: Share the same footprint and split stair location. Both have a rear facing glass and deck orientation. And both have a lower level grade door which is sympathetic with a lower level site approach. These also show significantly different exterior styles, initiated by the different approach to the front elevation window configurations. Note also the roof pitch difference. Lastly on the interior the fireplace location is flipped which has the living space more open in #5, but prohibits the glass wall and deck space on the left wall designed into #6.
