Straight topo line: This long 1 story layout follows the construction concepts consistent this series.  Recognizing that adding footage, if not accomplished by going up as is the case in design #5, then continuing to run along the topo line is the only choice. Pushing a design farther out over the sloping terrain is not an option.

Really big platform support system: This idea best illustrated in the foundation 3d image. This platform structure uses a series of independent footings and independent 4 part braced posts. The independence of these footings (compared with the continuous footing in design #5) allows for a site demanded change in height which is highly likely in a long run such as this project has.  The centers for these independent footings are similarly flexible. Cross joists for floor and insulation (2x10) and for decks (2x6) complete the working deck for all construction and future maintenance above. Working off a steep and or rough ground plane can be a serious handicap. The platform idea, once built, eliminates that handicap.
