Idea
These construction sets pretty much follow and an industry standard sequencing foundation drawings, floor plans, elevations, building sections and lastly any specialty drawings. They are customized to the project and include those drawings suited to best explain the construction. Project conditions that will effect the packaging of the construction set, include site and topo, foundation type, no. of levels, basic footprint geometry, roof complexity. Other critical project conditions include whether the project (costing)is to be bid or negotiated, and whether the selected builder(s) are well known or unknown.
FINAL ENGINEERING: Neither of these sets required the assistance of a licensed structural engineer, but as noted, this assistance can be helpful and or required.
Closer Look Set #1
This sample set #1 representing that mountain side more remote location was to be competitively bid to the owner/client by unknown builders. The drawing set wanted to be fully descriptive eliminating misinterpretation problems. So this set included more complete 3d construction anf framing drawings. This set is more descriptive and fee structure a little higher than the average project set.
Closer Look Set #2
This project is larger, but comparatively simpler to draw and engineer. The flat site with 1 1/2 stories above grade make this project simper geometrically. The builder and his strengths and habits were well known, which allowed this set to be presented in 2d drawings. The fees for this construction set was therefore set a little below the median.
